Individual barn overlooking open fields, dog friendly with open fire, Wyverstone

Suffolk. Sleeps up to 2

Swallow Barn is a converted barn adjacent to our very special 16th century timber framed house. We have converted the barn to a high specification, taking into account our favourite bits of all the holiday lets we have stayed in over the years. We aim to create a sense of cosiness without loss of practicality. The barn affords lovely views over the field and is light and airy. In winter months the wood burner adds a welcoming glow to curl up with.

Covid 19 - Swallow Barn's unique feature is that it is in a very special position overlooking open fields with no need to interact with others if you don’t wish to do so when in the property.

Whilst no property can be described as ‘Covid-free’ we adhere to guidance by providing an enhanced set of cleaning standards and have invested in additional equipment and time in order to do this. For this reason we have changed our minimum stays from 2 to 4 nights. This will be reviewed as the situation evolves.

Swallow Barn has its' own garden which is pretty secure and which is a haven for wildlife. We commonly see a variety of birds and deer walk through our meadow.

We are big dog lovers and own 2 rescue dogs. We are happy to accept well behaved dogs. We have a cat who is dog friendly to dogs who know how to treat him!

Dog guests will be able to share the use of our 2acre field behind the house. Please note owners will need to bring their own dog bed and bedding.

Located in Stowmarket, this vacation home is in a rural area. Wyken Vineyards and Peddars Way are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Knettishall Heath Country Park and Bradfield Woods. Cotton Mechanical Music Museum and EmZo are also worth visiting. Fishing offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with cycling, hiking, and horse riding nearby.
