Located in a pretty hamlet with views of beautiful, open countryside. The beach at nearby Beadnell Bay (7.8 miles) is perfect for dog walks, views of Dunstanburgh Castle, picnics, rock pooling, and water sports. There is a beachside café, pub/restaurants, a general store, and a café/bistro in Beadnell village. Head to Seahouses for boat trips to the Farne Islands and tasty fish and chips and nearby Craster for its world famous kippers. Explore Bamburgh Castle, the beach, shops, and renowned restaurants. Cross the causeway to Holy Island and spend a day in historic Berwick upon Tweed. Visit Alnwick Castle and Gardens (9 miles) and the market town s independent shops, galleries, playhouse theatre, and famous second hand bookshop and Cragside House and Gardens in friendly Rothbury. There is a contemporary café/shop (2.2 miles) which is a good venue for lunch and a friendly pub/restaurant in Ellingham (3.1 miles) where you can enjoy dinner.
