4 Star **** The Monmouthshire to Brecon Canal, Taff Trail, Talybont Forest, Reservoir and Waterfalls are all in walking distance. Views of the Black Mountains as far reaching as Abergaveny (14miles) The open mountains can be accessed straight off the FarmTwo medieval cottages:in the Brecon Beacons National Park. Local village of Talybont-on-Usk which boasts four pubs, cafe and village shop/post office. Walking there are bridle paths, footpaths, Henry Vaughn and Taff Trail from the farm, a cycle trail starts at the gate. Other activities include fishing and riding. The properties offers locked cycle storage and cycle and boot washing facilities(There are five cycles on the farm for hire). A breakfast hamper of the farm produce can be ordered for £5 per person per day. On farm meat and seasonal veg available, shopping from Asda, Tesco and Waitrose can be pre ordered. Dogs welcome.
