The Jurassic Coast offers fabulous walks and beautiful beaches, such as Studland Bay, the traditional seaside towns of Swanage (15 miles) and Weymouth (13 miles) and the striking shingle ridge of Chesil Beach (19 miles). Visit RSPB Arne (10 miles) and the historic walled town of Wareham (6.5 miles) or take the steam train between Swanage and Corfe Castle. Book a day chalk stream fishing at the East Burton Estate or coarse fishing at Wareham. In the nearby village of Wool (1.5 miles), you will find a good selection of amenities including a bakery, convenience stores, post office, chemist and three pubs.
