There is an open-plan living room upstairs, which enjoys a fully-equipped kitchen for rustling up your best dishes, a dining area for eight, and a lovely sitting area with sumptuous seating, and TV with Freeview and DVD player. This leads out onto a sunny balcony with dining furniture and views over open countryside; a wonderful place to dine alfresco or enjoy your favourite tipple. To the exterior, the grasses are bordered by trees and a quiet patio area rest with a hot tub. Relax in the luxurious bubbles and listen to the sounds of the babbling brook running down the side of the nearby. The on-site facilities include indoor and a seasonal outdoor heated swimming pools and tennis courts, as well as use of the gym if you're feeling particularly energetic. Close by is Gunnislake hosting a small selection of shops, pubs and the Tamar Valley Railway with regular services along the riverbank to Plymouth. Cotehele is a couple of miles away near Calstock, a National Trust property and rustic, working 19th- century mill on the banks of River Tamar, with woodland walks and formal gardens. Tavistock, with its pannier market, pubs and restaurants is a must, as well as Dartmoor National Park for exploring a region of wild open moorland, distinctive tors and green fields separated by stone walls.
