Walking and outdoor enthusiasts can take advantage of the close proximity of the Peak District National Park, where you can follow the scenic trails of Dovestone Reservoir, Broadstone Hill and the Longendale Trail. Venture further in to explore the sights of Derwent Dam, Blue John Cavern and the National Trust owned, Lyme. Uppermill rests nearby where you can tour the Saddleworth Museum & Gallery or test out your swing at the Andrew Earlam Golf course.
