Ulla Dhu is a charming, semi-detached cottage located on a working farm on the outskirts of Nethy Bridge, Highlands. A cottage in the Cairngorms National Park, this lovely abode has a contemporary interior and is ideally located for a family of four's countryside retreat, providing off-road parking, outdoor seating, and local amenities a short distance away. The area is very popular for all sports, birdwatching, fishing, and walking, with the Speyside Way passing through the farm. Be welcomed into the bright and airy open-plan living space with a fully-equipped kitchen, dining table for four with plush seating, and a sitting area with Smart TV with Sky, DVD player, DVDs, games, books and a Bluetooth speaker. A second sitting room is also beautifully appointed with cushioned seats, sofa bed, and a TV and selection of games to spend quality time with your loved ones. Completing the ground floor is an attractive shower room with a spacious walk-in shower, while the family bathroom is upstairs to unwind with a bubble bath. You'll also find two bedrooms, a double (with pull out single bed) and a twin, each with storage and hanging up space, bedside lamps, and stylish colour schemes. Start your mornings with a coffee in your private garden with outdoor seating, before venturing out to explore this fabulous National Park. In Nethy Bridge, you'll find a convenience store, Nethy House Cafe, and Nethybridge Hotel, whilst the surrounding attractions include Castle Roy, Loch Garten for forest trails and birdlife, and plenty of walking and cycle paths to explore. You'll be a short distance from the start of the Speyside Whisky Trail, the RSPB Scotland Loch Garten Nature Centre, and Landmark Forest Adventure Park with a host of activities for the whole family to enjoy. Spend the day wandering Grantown-on-Spey where you can visit the Grantown Museum, Anagach Woods, and Grantown-on-Spey Golf Club. A little further afield brings you to Aviemore, home to the Aviemore Ring Cairn and Stone Circle, The Cairngorm Brewery for tours and tasting traditional Scottish beer, and Craigellachie National Nature Reserve. The Strathspey Steam Railway and the Cairngorm Reindeer herd are within easy distance. Go-carting, Cinema, restaurants and pubs, Ice Skating and quad biking can all be found in the Aviemore area. There is so much to discover in Cairngorms National Park, such as beautiful scenery around Loch an Eilein, water sports at Loch Morlich, Highland Wildlife Park, and unforgettable hikes to the peak of Ben Macdui for the adventurous. Cairngorm Mountain also has its popular Ski Range, as well as Lecht Ski Centre for an unforgettable day on the slopes. Local fishing is available on the River Spey.
