The busier South Bay is also within walking distance with arcades, donkey rides and Luna Park funfair - perfect for a family-friendly day out to keep the children entertained. For the adults, the town provides an array of bars, pubs and restaurants to indulge in. Further afield, why not take a trip to the nearby town of Filey, with its award-winning beach, or head north to discover the historical town of Whitby, the inspiration behind Bram Stoker's 18th century novel, Dracula.
