This property is located just 2 miles from the town of Okehampton, where there are a number of shops, takeaways, and supermarkets. There are also specialist shops that cater for walkers, cyclists, and climbers, and it is close to the north western edge of Dartmoor National Park. The moor itself offers many miles of scenic walks for all abilities, ranging from easy strolls through to challenging hikes and climbs. With great transport links nearby you will also be a 25 mile drive from the stunning cathedral city of Exeter and within reach of the unspoilt villages along the northern coastline and popular tourist destinations of the south coast. Other attractions within reach include the Miniature Pony Centre, Meldon Reservoir, Meldon Viaduct, Crealy Adventure Park, Lydford Gorge, Roadford Lake, Okehampton Castle and Dingles Fairground. This delightful lodge is accessed via a small flight of external wooden steps and once inside you will find yourself in the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. This lovely light room has a contemporary feel with its beautiful styling and boasts a flame effect electric fire, Smart TV, comfortable sofas and dining table seating six. Large patio doors allow guests to open up this area in the warmer months, extending the living space out onto the decked terrace. Also perfectly appointed is the kitchen area which is well equipped with an electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. There is a washing machine located in a separate utility room which also provides handy storage space. Head further inside where you will discover the three beautiful bedrooms, the first of which is a double room with lots of useful storage space, TV, and an en suite shower room with WC. Completing the offering inside the property are two cosy twin rooms, one of which has 2' 6" beds, and located next to these, there is a bathroom with a shower over bath and a WC. Outside, the enclosed, decked terrace makes a great place to relax and enjoy the sunshine with a drink at the end of the day. A table and chairs also make it possible for guests to enjoy al fresco meals plus the fabulous feature of a private hot tub is a welcome luxury after a day exploring the moor. Located next door is a pub which includes a fun children s play area. Private off road parking for two cars is also provided.
