The market town of Bideford is popular with holidaymakers and is also home to the Oldenburg passenger ferry that makes daily trips to Lundy Island. Surfers and sunbathers can discover the sandy beaches at Instow and Westward Ho!, and both walkers and cyclists can follow the Tarka Trail as it winds its way through North Devon. There are also several local attractions such as the Milky Way, the Big Sheep and Dartington Crystal that make a great family day out.
