The South Hams, which overs the most southerly tip of Devon, is a region that has been officially classified as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and from wild Dartmoor to gentle southern coastlines, there is plenty here to explore. Enjoy some of the finest beaches in the West Country and discover hidden coves and sheltered rock pools, as well as long sandy beaches. Staying at Ferndale puts you in the perfect position to explore the town of Totnes, maritime Plymouth and the coastal villages of East Prawle, Salcombe and Noss Mayo. Keen walkers can enjoy a 30 minute walk to the coast along the footpath accessed direct from the house. This second floor apartment offers two bedrooms. One double and one twin room (2'6" x 6'3" beds). The main bedroom has a lovely views of the lush green Devon countryside. The bathroom has a bath and WC. Moving into the openspace, the lounge/diner/kitchen has ample comfortable seating to recuperate in from your long walks and expedition into the South Devon countryside. A TV/DVD is available to relax with and catch up on your favourite shows and films. If you are planning on staying in and cooking up some great meals with local produce, the kitchen area has an electric oven and hob, fridge with ice compartment and microwave. A shared laundry room is also available. Outside, there is an enclosed walled shared garden area which is accessed through a gate and across a quiet and narrow road. There is also a rambling footpath which will lead guests to the seaside at Lannacombe Beach this is a 30 minute walk away or a 5 minute drive but with limited parking when you get there. There is ample off road parking available.
