Barn in West Yorkshire, Holmfirth

West Yorkshire. Sleeps up to 4

This charming cottage has the best of both worlds because it is situated on the borderlands of the Holme Valley and the Peak District National Park. This property has been converted to a high standard throughout, and enjoys stunning far reaching countryside views. With exclusive use a large indoor swimming pool, this property has to be the top choice for those wanting to kick back and have a relaxing swim to soothe aching limbs. The cottage sleeps four people so it is perfect for a family or two couples. It s also well equipped with a thoroughly modern kitchen and living room with woodburner (logs provided). TV fans will be agog at the fact that the long running TV show Last of the Summer Wine is filmed in and around Holmfirth so you may be able to catch a glimpse of Seymour, Compo and Clegg getting up to their usual mischief. It s a great place to recreate some of their famous strolls, too. Holmfirth has some great shops to get lost in too. You are well placed to take some of the extreme sports courses in the area. So look into caving, hang gliding, mountain biking and more. That s if you can drag yourself away from the cottage's home comforts.
