Sitting within the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, there's so much natural splendour to be discovered; begin your exploration in the local village of Chipping, where you can find the conveniences of both a farm shop where you can pick up fresh produce, as well as a pub and English restaurant catering to all of your cuisine needs. There are plenty of opportunities to get involved with outdoor adventure all around too; venture to the Parlick mountain peak for a steady hike with rewarding views at the top and even the chance to watch paragliders take to the skies, with the nearby Marilyn mountain of Longridge Fell offering commanding views in every direction making it the perfect spot for a romantic picnic. Take a scenic stroll around the Beacon Fell Country Park, home to 110 hectares of woodland, moorland and farmland, it offers wonderful opportunities to wildlife watch on a leisurely walk, ideal for all abilities.
