When you’re ready to explore, take a short drive to start your itinerary, visiting Clitheroe Castle Museum to learn all about the castle’s rich history, before heading over to Nick of Pendle to see the famous witch trail site. Cross Cromwell's Bridge and enjoy the stunning views of the Ribble Valley followed by lunch at Holmes Mill for a locally sourced meal in a charming setting, or visit The Wellsprings, a Spanish and Mexican restaurant, displaying far-reaching views across the countryside. The Forest of Bowland is nearby and provides superb walking and cycling trails, where you can expect to see the 16th-century Browsholme Hall, Gisburn Forest, Jubilee Tower and the peaks of Fair Snape Fell on your adventure.
