Boasting outstanding views from its elevated position, The Look Out commands amazing scenery over the lovely seaside village of Aberdovey. Positioned on a quiet, private lodge park, The Look Out is perfect for families wishing to enjoy a break in Wales. Enjoying a ground-floor layout, The Look Out offers open-plan living, so whether you are cooking a family meal in the well-equipped kitchen, gathered around the dining table or relaxing on the sofa in front of the TV, you can be amidst your loved ones. Continue down the hallway to the bedrooms, including two doubles, one of which has a TV and an adult bunk room, it can cater for couples or groups of friends. Serving these bedrooms is the neat shower room with a walk-in shower, basin and WC as well as a heated towel rail. For a perfect evening, simply take a seat on the outdoor sofas on the enclosed decking and take in the view, with this area great for stargazing too thanks to the lower light pollution. Head down into the village of Aberdovey to enjoy the delights of this coastal haven, with plenty of inns and restaurants to visit, an excellent 18-hole golf course, and a beach renowned for its watersports. Spend days on the beach surfing, sunbathing or swimming, or have a go at some sea fishing or crab fishing and catch your evening meal! Visit Tywyn to see the world-famous Talyllyn Steam Railway, a 19th century railway once a way of transporting slate and now offering picturesque journeys through the Fathew valley in Snowdonia National Park, passing streams and waterfalls and through a remote valley in the Meioneth mountains, it's perfect for all ages. Keen walkers can explore the southern Snowdonia Mountain Range, enjoy the views at the Penygader, the peak of Cadair Idris, holding dramatic views of the lake and valley below from the top. Other attractions nearby include King Arthur's Labyrinth, an underground attraction within an old slate mine, and the Centre for Alternative Technology, set across 7 acres, it hosts interactive displays, organically managed gardens, family activities and a café. Enjoy the beauty of both the sea and Snowdonia at The Look Out.
