This superb cottage provides excellent holiday accommodation in the centre of one of the most popular villages in the Yorkshire Dales and was once home to Miss July of Calendar Girls fame. Full of character and charm throughout, with old beams and exposed stone work, a warm and cosy sitting room with a lovely woodburning stove greets guests as they walk through the front door. A splendid farmhouse-style kitchen is a real delight with all those extra touches that will ensure a great stay at this cottage. The spacious master bedroom is a beautiful room, with individual styling and a double bed, making this an ideal romantic retreat. The second twin room and modern shower room are the icing on the cake for this excellent holiday home. The village has much to offer, with lovely walks down to the river and across beautiful countryside to nearby Grassington, where there is an excellent local pub, renowned for its real ales and fine varied menu. A short drive away is Bolton Abbey with its ruins, the Priory and the famous Strid Walk. A little further afield is the elegant town of Ilkley, overlooked by the famous Ilkley Moor and to the west are Kettlewell and Buckden, boasting spectacularly beautiful limestone scenery. With many other beauty spots scattered throughout Wharfedale, this quality cottage provides a great base for exploring the local area and all that the Dales have to offer.
