This contemporary, light and airy apartment makes an excellent holiday base to explore the Isle of Bute. Rothesay town centre is within walking distance where there are shops, bars, bistros and cafes, and makes the perfect base for a couple or friends to explore and enjoy this beautiful location.
Providing a warm, homely atmosphere, the apartment boasts private parking and is also dog friendly. The comfortable living room enjoys stunning views over Rothesay Bay and has a small dining area from where you can enjoy a meal and watch the ferries coming in. The spacious bedroom also has fantastic sea views and has a zip and link kingsize bed, which can be separated into twins if required.
Hermanus Apartment forms part of a former hotel which was converted into apartments in 2008 and is situated on the seafront, next to the iconic Rothesay Pavilion, a popular and well-known arts venue. Rothesay is Bute’s main town, with the main ferry port and transport hub for getting out and exploring, and there is an excellent tourist office in the Discovery Centre, which also houses an exhibition about the Isle of Bute. Glasgow is just 33 miles away and is one of the most accessible of the westerly islands from the Scottish Central Belt. Being 15 miles long, and 5 miles across at its widest point, the island is home to many historical sites including Rothesay Castle and Mount Stuart House, as well as beautiful gardens and walks for all abilities. Beach 5 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 100 yards.
