Not only can you learn to surf but there is also aerial assault courses, children’s soft play and a lovely café.
The village of Dolgarrog also has a small shop and is situated in the beautiful Conwy Valley, gateway to the Snowdonia National Park. A short drive to the south, beyond the market town of Llanrwst, you will find picturesque Betws-y-Coed where there is an excellent selection of outdoor pursuit shops, cafés and restaurants. In the other direction, towards the coast, is the historic town of Conwy with its majestic Edward I castle and almost complete town walls (a UNESCO World Heritage site). The Victorian seaside resort of Llandudno, with the Great Orme, cable car rides, fabulous sea views and a theatre with a busy all year round programme.
