By crossing the bridge you are in the middle with easy access to pubs, little shops and tea rooms. This family sized home is ideal for up to 6 guests and has been comfortably furnished. Inside, the master bedroom has French doors leading out to the enclosed garden, ideal for sitting out on a sunny evening.

Rothbury is a super base for exploring the stunning countryside which can be enjoyed on foot, cycle or car. Nearby you can walk to Cragside House, the home of Lord Armstrong, which lies on the outskirts of the town and is a beautiful National Trust site open to visitors. The less energetic may wish to take a gentle stroll along the river and finish off at one of the friendly pubs, most of which provide food. Serious walkers will like to visit the Simonside Hills.

Known as the capital of Coquetdale, Rothbury is ideally located for exploring the nearby villages that are set on the edge of the Northumberland National Park. There is also easy access to the Northumberland Heritage Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Alnwick is 12 miles away and famed for the castle used in some Harry Potter scenes. Kielder Water can be easily reached and hosts watersports. The drive along the lake is pretty spectacular and the dark sky’s at night are a big visitor attraction. Beach 17 miles. Shop 900 yards, pub and restaurant 700 yards.
