Hardy's House is a charming, traditional mid-terraced cottage, formerly home of the foreman of the famous Hardy's fishing tackle factory. It is set in a peaceful, secluded street only a minute’s walk from the heart of Alnwick. This warm and cosy holiday cottage is furnished and equipped to a very good standard and is typical of the terraced cottages in the area. GROUND FLOOR Living room with TV/DVD Blu-ray player. Dining room with DAB radio and tumble dryer in cupboard. Kitchen with gas hob and electric oven, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge/freezer and door to rear yard. FIRST FLOOR Bedroom 1 with double bed. Bedroom 2 with twin beds and TV. Bedroom 3 with double bed. Bathroom with walk-in rainfall shower, WC and basin. OTHER FACILITIES Enclosed patio area. Gas central heating. All power, bed linen and towels included in rent. Private parking for one small car. On street parking also available. Alnwick is a fantastic market town with loads on offer for guests, so why not head into the town centre and browse the independent shops, trying out local produce and enjoying a meal at one of the many tasty eateries? There is the fantastic Alnwick Castle, where you can learn more about the local history as well as an abundance of countryside and riverside walks including Hulne Park, RSPB Brizlee Wood and there are also other fun activities including a local golf course and Barter Books Café.
