Set on a quiet street in the middle of Tynemouth, this semi-detached holiday home retains many original features. It is just perfect for couples or friends looking for a wonderful short break only a stone’s throw from the beach and many upmarket wine bars, eateries, cafés and shops in this popular seaside town. Tynemouth has a gorgeous beach, popular with surfers and holidaymakers, and the little cafés tucked away down on the beachfront are a delight. Tynemouth has an old Priory, sometimes used as a backdrop for open air events in the summer.

You can walk to nearby North Shields with its bustling working harbour full of restaurants, perfect for fish lovers and home to The Tall Ships Race. Visit Whitley Bay, where the beautiful Spanish City has been fully regenerated and has a relaxing champagne bar and events. The promenade area that stretches this bit of coastline has all been modernised and is a gorgeous place to stroll along on an evening whatever the weather, as there are plenty of places to stop off for coffee or a G&T.

Tynemouth has a handy metro station, nicknamed the ’Covent Garden of the North’, and is home to a very interesting weekend indoor market popular for all ages. You can hop on the metro here to Newcastle and take in the quayside, visit the theatre, gallery and museum, or enjoy the history and shopping. Tynemouth is close to a great road network which will takes you off in all directions, over to Hadrian’s Wall in the west of the county (just over an hour’s drive away) or north up the stunning Heritage Coast, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, where there are more golden sands and castles to explore. Visitors to Tynemouth Oasis who enjoy the social scene will be delighted with the location of the property, being within walking distance to all the amenities so you can leave your car at home and enjoy some ’Geordie’ hospitality.
