This 18th-century terraced house is located just a short walk into the small town of Horncastle, known for its antiques and collectables as well as being on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Lovingly refurbished for 2019, Watson’s Cottage was once part of the Watson’s Infant School and is now ideal for a relaxing break or as a touring base. Nearby restaurants, cafés and pubs provide refreshment after a day spent exploring. The traditional seaside resort of Skegness is to the east with its sandy beaches and amusements, and Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve is perfect for nature lovers and great walks.

A 30-minute drive away is the city of Lincoln, famous for its cathedral, Lincoln Castle and the Magna Carta Visitor Centre. The Bailgate area around the castle is well known for its restaurants, as well as the range of shops. Golfers will enjoy the 18-hole golf course on the edge of Horncastle, and there are also courses at Woodhall Spa and Louth. There are good walks and cycle routes from the door, with an attractive courtyard and garden to the rear to enjoy after a busy day. Beach 21 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.
