Hebden Bridge offers a superb selection of independent pubs, restaurants, cafés and shops. Renowned for being creative and bohemian, the attractive streets are perfect for simply wandering and enjoying the sights. For outdoor enthusiasts, Hebden Bridge was the UK’s first ‘Walkers are Welcome’ town. Excellent walking is available in the area with the Pennine Way close by, as well as the National Trust owned Hardcastle Crags. Hebden Bridge is home to a delightful Victorian railway station which offers direct links to both Manchester and Leeds, as well as other Calderdale towns. Both the Peak District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks can be reached in under and hour, and Howarth, once home to the infamous Bronte family, is a scenic 20-minute drive away.
