Located just a short walk from the traditional Yorkshire market town of Thirsk where you will find an array of shops, pubs and restaurants along with a splash of local history at The world of James Herriot museum. The surrounding area is not short of gentle strolls or more challenging walks or cycle routes with stunning scenery through dales or moorland. Neither is it short or visitor attractions and theme parks with Eden Camp modern history museum, Flamingo Land and Lightwater Valley and many heritage sites nearby. On arrival to the house you will step into a bright and airy porch where you can leave your muddy boots and coats before entering the hallway. Walking through to a large and sociable open plan kitchen/diner with additional breakfast area. The kitchen is well equipped and perfectly suited for entertaining and cooking that family meal. It offers an electric oven and gas hob, fridge, microwave and dishwasher along with Nespresso and Tassimo coffee machines. Through the kitchen you will reach a spacious utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge/freezer and you will also find a wet room with shower. In the hallway you will find a separate WC. Access to the lounge is from the hallway but flows perfectly through to the dining area. The lounge has large patio doors to let a bit of the outdoors in. A lovely space to relax in front of the TV after a long day out. Upstairs you will find a king size bedroom with a TV and an en suite shower and WC, a double bedroom with TV and two twin bedrooms. The bathroom is on the first floor with a power shower over the bath and WC. There is ample car parking on the large drive off the main road which is to the front of the house. The back garden is a wonderful space for the whole family to enjoy. There are two patio areas, one of which has a sun canopy from the lounge patio doors.The back door from the utility room leads on to the patio area and garden beyond. You can enjoy a BBQ (gas or charcoal) while watching all of the bird s rest in the trees around, if you listen hard enough you may even be able to hear the trickling of water in the stream at the edge of the garden.
