The construction of the Scarborough to Middlesbrough railway line at the end of the 19th century, saw the building of a large number of sea captains' and shipowners'  houses at the top of Robin Hood's Bay. One of these being Capt. John Harrison's 'Lisnacrieve'. The property has recently been completely renovated and offers prestigious family accommodation in this historic Yorkshire coast village.

Accommodation:  Entrance from the private road at the rear of the property, with a garage and parking for up to three vehicles, is into a spacious utility area with downstairs toilet and on to a well-equipped kitchen/diner with full amenities including a gas fired AGA. The remainder of the ground floor features two comfortable sitting rooms. A Victorian staircase leads from the Minton tiled hall floor to a mezzanine with bathroom with bath/shower, toilet, bidet and washbasin and a separate shower room with shower, toilet and washbasin. On the first floor are two spacious double bedrooms and on the second floor are two more fully-furnished attic bedrooms with twin beds and views over the village to the beach and Ravenscar.   

Services:  refrigerator, AGA range, ceramic hob and electric oven, dishwasher, Butler sink, washer/dryer and chest freezer in utility area. TV with DVD/VCR in both sitting rooms. Gas central heating. Bed linen and towels are provided. A cot and high chair are provided. Non-smokers only. Pets with well-behaved owners are welcome. At the front of the property is an enclosed garden with sitting out furniture. Parking for three cars at the rear of the house.
