The South West Coast Path also offers spectacular walking in both directions, and the nearby wetland bird sanctuary and nature reserve has some lovely wildlife and scenery. With the town being conveniently located beside the A39, this is a great location for touring both Devon and Cornwall, and days out could include visits to The Eden Project, the delightful fishing villages of Clovelly, Boscastle, Tintagel, Port Isaac, Rock and Padstow, Bodmin Moor, and numerous National Trust properties and gardens. Stepping into the pretty property you will immediately discover a lovely contemporary shower room with WC, located to the left of the door, and this provides a place to clean up after a day at the beach.
