The nearby historic town of Stowmarket is home to the Museum of East Anglian Life,in Framlingham, the castle is backdrop to a thriving Tuesday and Saturday market plus independent shops, pubs and eateries. Or alternatively Bury St Edmunds with its cathedral and abbey ruins offers outstanding culture. Nature lovers will enjoy many outstanding RSPB reserves including Minsmere and Orford Ness and the myriad of local paths and tracks which can be discovered on foot or by bike. No trip to Suffolk would be complete without exploring the stunning Suffolk Heritage Coast with varied coastline and popular tourist resorts including Southwold and Aldeburgh which are easily accessible with the pretty A1120 tourist route. Guests entering the cottage will find an open plan lounge/kitchen/diner on the first floor with French doors out to the garden. The lounge area features comfy sofas arranged around a Smart TV and DVD and a flame effect electric fire. The kitchen is well equipped with everything required to dine in including electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and to help with the cleaning, a handy dishwasher, there is also a washer/dryer and dining area with table and chairs. Ascending the stairs to the first floor there are two bedrooms, the first is a double with TV/DVD while the second is a twin, again with TV/DVD. Finishing the accommodation is a generous bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Moving outside, the cottage enjoys a private garden with ample space for children and pets to run off some energy and a patio area with garden furniture and BBQ providing guests with opportunities to dine outdoors on a warm summers evening. Off road parking for four cars is available adjacent to the cottage.
