An ideal location from where to explore Suffolk both coast and country. Situated in the heart of the Suffolk countryside the property is perfect for those looking for a peaceful holiday, with miles of country lanes to walk or cycle down. The village of Mendlesham is 2 miles away with shop, bakery and fish and chip shop. Further afield lies the Suffolk coast with the beautiful coastal towns of Southwold, home of the famous brewery and pier. Aldeburgh with the nearby Snape Maltings and Walberswick, great for a spot of crabbing. Other attractions include Banham Zoo, Jimmy s Farm, Helmingham Hall, Africa Alive, Framlingham Castle, Museum of East Anglian Life and Sutton Hoo. Bury St Edmunds, Framlingham and Stowmarket have good shops and places to eat. On entering the cottage there is a rear lobby, giving access to the; Utility room perfect for storing your walking boots, having a washing machine and fridge/freezer, A downstairs bathroom comprising of bath with shower over, wash hand basin and WC. Outside: An enclosed garden with patio, garden furniture and BBQ., overlooks fields to the rear. There is off road parking to the front of the property. Due to steep, narrow, old cottage style stairs property not suitable for anyone with limited mobility.
