The traditional village of Mile End is an ideal base to explore the Royal Forest of Dean and Wye Valley. Situated just a short distance for the market town of Coleford and offering simple access to a wealth of trails that can be explored on foot, cycle or horseback from your front door. Along with caving, abseiling, canoeing and a high wire rope course for the more adventurous. Local bike hire is available with a well marked trial that will take you deep into the forest. Also within easy access Puzzlewood and Clearwell with its ancient caves, Symonds Yat offering canoe hire and outstanding views across the Wye valley, the historic market town of Ross on Wye, with timbered Tudor houses, excellent shops, pubs and restaurants. Leave your boots behind under the front porch before you step inside. The entrance hall offers access to the inviting lounge/diner with cosy sofas and armchairs which are perfectly placed in front of the open fire and TV where you can enjoy a good movie after a day exploring. To the rear of the room is a table and chairs for four guests. There is access to a conservatory from this room where you can relax with a good book overlooking the gardens. The kitchen is accessed via the main hallway and is well equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine. When the time comes to say goodnight you will find two bedrooms, there is a king size zip and link bedroom which can be made up as a twin on request, with views onto the gardens and a king size bedroom with views to the side of the gardens. Also of the hallway there is a shower room with shower and WC. The gardens are accessed via the conservatory, you can enjoy morning coffee on the patio or take a stroll into the established orchards which are shared with the owner. There is parking for two cars and bike storage is available.
