This former ancient Welsh barn, located a few miles from the seaside town of Aberystwyth, has been converted into bright and spacious holiday accommodation for up to eight people. Aberdale Cottage is situated on a working sheep farm, surrounded by the glorious Ceredigion countryside, and it has its own large enclosed south facing garden. On the ground floor, the spacious sitting area with lots of sofas, is open plan with the dining and kitchen area, making it a very sociable space for family groups to enjoy. Also on the ground floor is a large bedroom with an en-suite shower room. Upstairs there are two further bedrooms and a large family bathroom.

A 10-minute drive will bring you to the Victorian seaside town of Aberystwyth with its pier and promenade. Make sure you take the electric cliff railway to the summit of Constitution Hill for the most spectacular views right across Cardigan Bay. This university town has all the amenities you will need including a theatre, plenty of shops, restaurants and cafés, and in addition, just by the main railway station, you can also catch the Vale of Rheidol steam railway to the spectacular falls at Devil’s Bridge and make sure you visit the village chocolate shop whilst you’re there!

If you enjoy coastal walks or time on the beach, this is the place to be. Ceredigion has over 60 miles of coastal path to enjoy and plenty of choice of beaches. North of Aberystwyth, just beyond the town of Borth, the beautiful beach at Ynyslas stretches out in front of the sand dunes with lovely views across to Aberdovey. Do come and stay at comfortable Aberdale Cottage and experience what this wonderful part of Wales has to offer. Beach 3½ miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 1¾ miles.
