Rowan Cottage retains its original character through exposed beams and stonework, and has also been lovingly and attractively furnished throughout. The barn enjoy use of extensive gardens shared with the other properties on-site, offering fabulous views and a variety seating areas which provide the perfect place to unwind on warmer days. The gardens are complimented even further by use of a shared hot tub, Finnish barbecue house (available on request, at cost) and tennis courts. The on-site spa is complete with steam rooms, sauna’s, foot spa’s, an aromatherapy room, tropical experience shower and a Rasul mud room, as well as an outdoor area with wood-fired tub (all available at cost). Surrounded by open fields and with uninterrupted views of the moors, Smallshaw Farm Cottages are ideally located if you love the great outdoors. Overlooking the Trans Pennine Trail, and with your four-legged friends welcome, local walks are plentiful with many reservoirs and trails on the doorstep. There is an excellent choice of country pubs and restaurants within easy reach, and nearby attractions include the bustling town of Holmfirth, Chatsworth House, Harewood House, the ever popular market town of Bakewell or spa town of Buxton. If you’re missing the bright lights of city life, Sheffield, Leeds and Manchester are no more than a 40-minute drive away. Shop and pub 1½ miles, restaurant ½ mile.
