Enter the cottage via the fully enclosed terrace garden to be welcomed into the spacious living/dining room, where you can flick on the electric fire to fill the room with ambiance and warmth, as you kick back and relax in front of the Smart TV, on the L-shape sofa, piled with sumptuous cushions to be snuggled into. Joining the space is a contemporary dining table, where you can enjoy the company of your loved ones, whilst tucking into a local takeaway or a home-cooked dish that has been prepared within the kitchen. Take the door to discover the kitchen, where intricate patterns of the ornate tiles lie beneath neutral painted units, topped by sleek marble worktops with a range of quality appliances to assist you in cooking up family-favourite recipes, and a washing machine to easily freshen up belongings after a bracing day on the Yorkshire moors. Just a stone’s throw away from the cottage are a choice of shops for picking up any essentials, as well as an array of takeaways, pubs serving food and on the Wharf, you will find lots of restaurants with waterside views to admire. Better acquaint yourself within the bustling town further as you stroll along the peaceful Calder and Hebble Navigation or take two-wheels to enjoy the 33-mile long Rochdale Canal to soak up some breath-taking scenery. The nearby town of Halifax is well-worth a visit and is home to a plethora of historical landmarks, including the sprawling Piece Hall, home to a collection of history exhibits, shops, bars and restaurants, or there is the Grade II* listed historic house of Shibden Hall, which was featured in the BBC drama series, 'Gentleman Jack'. Alternatively, the quaint village of Haworth lies slightly further afield, home a beautiful cobbled main street and the world famous Brontë Parsonage Museum, where you can gain a snapshot into the lives of Charlotte, Emily and Anne, who penned some of our most loved novels. Avid ramblers can venture to the Yorkshire Dales National Park for great walking opportunities, whilst those with younger guests will be delighted by the attractions of Another World Adventure Centre and the Hardcastle Crags, which is a scenic woodland valley with a network of paths awaiting to be explored.
