Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. Seaholme is a substantial semi-detached house situated in the heart of the traditional fishing port of Seahouses. The property is immaculately presented throughout. The homely lounge leads through to an open plan dining area, which overlooks the spacious rear garden and where patio doors enhance its light and airy ambience. The separate kitchen area is also on the ground floor. All three bedrooms and family bathroom are located on the first floor. The master bedroom has a bay window, a delightful spot to sit and admire the view towards the sea in the distance.
There is a wide array of facilities available within Seahouses including tearooms, restaurants, pubs and shops, all within a gentle stroll from Seaholme. Boat trips to the Farne Islands, famous for their puffins and grey seal colonies, depart regularly from the harbour. Horse riding is available on the cusp of the village and there’s an impressive golf course on the links very close by. The picture postcard village of Bamburgh, protected by its dramatic fortress, is only 3 miles north with its wide expanse of golden, and often empty, sandy beaches and where the tidal island of Lindisfarne, locally known as Holy Island and the birth place of Christianity, can be viewed. Just a couple of miles down the coastline is Beadnell Bay, its glorious sandy beach is popular with water-sports enthusiasts.
The market town of Alnwick, with its own castle offers many facilities a few miles inland. Alnwick Garden is a popular visitor attraction with its grand cascade waterfall and restaurant within the largest tree house in Europe! Seaholme makes an excellent base for discovering the very best of Northumberland. Beach ½ mile. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.
