There isn’t any garden, however there are lots of lovely forestry areas to explore.
This is a fantastic area for those who want to escape to the countryside. You won’t get bored exploring local forests, whether cycling through the many trails or admiring the views on foot. You might like to jump on the train and head 45 minutes away to Cardiff for shopping and dining out. Or by car, visit Gloucester Cathedral, shopping in Cheltenham or Bristol for more.
Other outdoor activities include canoeing at Symonds Yat, walking through Clearwell Caves hidden under the forest floor and Go Ape at Beechenhurst. Plenty for children to explore such as a magical day at Puzzlewood, take a trip on the steam railways or visit the Butterfly Trail in nearby Ross-on-Wye. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
