Large patio with garden furniture, firepit and wood burner/BBQ. 6-acre natural grounds with woodland (shared with owner). 1 dog welcome, to be kept on a lead outside the grounds at all times (sheep country). Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There is an unfenced pond in the woodland, 400 yards away.. Mayeston Barn is set behind the owner’s home, where you can make the most of the ’escape to the country’ views. Thoughtfully furnished to a good standard, and retaining much of its original character with vaulted ceilings, beams and oak flooring, as well as a fantastic feature dining table, it is ideal for formal dining and celebrations. The bedrooms have been lovingly decorated with your comfort in mind. With access to the owner’s fields, you and your furry friend can make use of the extensive space.

Mayeston Barn is situated on the edge of the delightful hamlet of Cosheston, near the historic market town of Pembroke and the famous coastal resort of Tenby. Why not take a stroll into the village and discover the Cosheston Pill, a tidal contributory to the Cleddau Estuary, teaming with bird life and lovely walking opportunities along the coastline, not forgetting the 186 miles of Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. Take a trip back in time and visit Pembroke Castle, the birthplace of Henry VII, and also the venue to many open air concerts throughout the year. There are also a wide variety of restaurants nearby where you can enjoy some food made with home grown, local produce.

Travelling south Pembrokeshire’s dramatic coastline with Freshwater East, Barafundle Beach and Manorbier, are not to be missed (and the owners even provide beach towels in the summer). Visit the coastal resort of Tenby, with its cobbled street, trips to Caldey Island and a picture postcard harbour, it really is a perfect spot to explore. Oakwood, Wales’ largest theme park, Heatherton World of Adventure and Folly Farm Adventure Zoo all offer the perfect day out for your family and are within easy driving distance. Beach 4 miles. Shops 2 miles, pub and restaurant 400 yards.
