This semi-detached cottage is perched high above the cliffs of the beautifully dramatic Pembrokeshire coastline with uninterrupted views over Amroth, the Gower and Carmarthen Bay. Furzewood Cottage has been finished to a good standard throughout and has been thoughtfully furnished with a galley style kitchen,and an open plan dining area which is perfect for cooking that special meal or preparing breakfast. A separate living room has patio doors leading onto a private decked terrace with sea views, where you can sit, read a book or enjoy a drink. Set within the grounds of the owner’s home and two other holiday cottages, it offers shared use of a hot tub. Relax with a glass of wine and star gaze whilst soaking in the hot tub, enjoy dining with a difference in a barbecue house or stroll into the coastal hamlet of Amroth. Be sure to explore the 9 acres of grounds around your cottage which include lots of grassed areas for playing ball games and wildlife to keep an eye out for.
Discover the local sea front pubs specialising in fresh line caught fish, locally sourced home cooking and not forgetting some locally brewed ales. Amroth offers cafés and a stunning sandy beach ideal for children to let off steam, to play and build sand castles or enjoy some water sports with kayaking, sailing and surfing all on your doorstep. Locally there is host of walks to discover including the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park footpath which covers 186 miles of iconic Welsh coastline.
Locally, the National Trust managed Colby Woodland Gardens really is worth a visit where you can wander through the vast gardens or discover the hidden valley and secret garden. A little further along the coast are Saundersfoot and the famous walled town of Tenby which really is worth a visit. Here you can uncover the charm of this historic coastal town with its glorious sandy beaches, cobbled streets and the majestic harbour. Beach 800 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 800 yards.
