Originally built as a coal miner’s cottage and dating back to 1840, this cosy and traditional semi-detached, single-storey cottage is perfect for couples wishing to explore Anglesey and the mountains of Snowdonia. Perfectly located on the edge of a peaceful village and just a short drive from the market town of Llangefni with a fine selection of shops, restaurants and pubs it really does make for a perfect break at any time of the year. Within easy reach are the sandy beaches of Aberffraw and Rhosneigr, where there are in fact 125 miles of spectacular coastline to explore and many opportunities to enjoy outdoor activities such as horse riding, walking and cycling. There is much to do in the surrounding area with the charming town of Beaumaris, the Pili Palas Nature World and the National Trust’s Plas Newydd all within easy reach. The Snowdonia National Park with its myriad of outdoor pursuits and dramatic mountain scenery is also well worth a visit, and the mountains can been seen from the cottage. Beach 7 miles. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
