West Ferlochan Cottage offers 4* self catering accommodation in Benderloch, Oban. Our cottage is in a tranquil location on the shores of Loch Creran. We are the ideal spot for exploring this beautiful part of Argyll.

The lounge can seat up to six people with an open fireplace and 40” TV with satellite. The fully equipped kitchen/diner has a range of applicants such as an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer and speakers for an iPod/iPhone.

Downstairs there is a small twin room, bathroom with shower and WC and a good size utility room equipped with a washing machine and tumbler drier.

On the first floor there are two main bedrooms. Each bedroom has a 6ft bed which can be made into twins if required. Both bedrooms upstairs have smart HD Ready LED TV’s. The bathroom on the first floor comes with a bath, shower and WC.

The cottage is part of a 220-acre working farm. There are many walks across the farm and up to Sguir Mor which offers spectacular and panoramic views across Loch Creran to the mountains beyond. Guests have sole use of two small lawn areas.

Open all year round and Short Breaks welcome.

Oban, which is the “Gateway to the Scottish Isles”, is less than 10 miles; Fort William, considered to be the 'outdoor capital of the UK', is less than a hour's drive away.


Located in Oban, this cottage is in a rural area and near the beach. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Highland Titles Nature Reserve and Loch Linnhe, while Oban War and Peace Museum and Dunollie Museum, Castle and Grounds are cultural highlights. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
