Rowan Cottage is a lovely detached holiday property, sitting on a hillside overlooking Loch Long and the Firth of Clyde, near Dunoon, Argyll. It’s one of four situated within a small holiday development called Stronchullin.

Interior
With lots of natural light and lovely views, it sleeps six people in three bedrooms. On the ground floor there’s a spacious open-plan sitting room and dining area with oak flooring and a wood burning stove. From the lounge there’s a patio door leading out to large decking and garden with magnificent views – the perfect spot for an alfresco drink.

The newly reburbished kitchen has everything you could need, including a breakfast bar. There’s also a shower room and a double bedroom downstairs. Upstairs there’s a bedroom with a double and single bed and a single bedroom.

Explore
Rowan Cottage is an ideal base from which to explore the whole of Argyll, with Oban, Bute, Inveraray and Portavadie Marina all within day-trip distance. There’s a lively arts scene around this area, as well as endless opportunities for outdoor fun – from kayaking in the sheltered waters to walking in the woods.

This cottage is located in Dunoon. The Queens Hall and Castle House Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Blairmore and Strone Golf Glub and Holy Loch Marina. Traveling with kids? Consider Quadmania and Benmore Botanic Garden.
