A charming 17th century, stone-built detached farmhouse located in the village of Hathersage; a warm and welcoming holiday accommodation for families or friends. Bring everyone along on this adventure to explore the countryside surroundings and charming Peak District from one day to the next. Inside, the ground floor is home to a utility area and a well-equipped kitchen where you can prepare your favourite meals and enjoy a cup of tea in the morning hours. The separate dining room is perfect for an evening meal and boasts beams and a woodburner to enhance those cosy nights in. A reception room and living area make a lovely place to relax in the evening, ideal for watching TV as you cosy up on the L-shape sofa. A staircase is tucked away into the corner of the room and leads you up to a family-friendly room with a king-size and single bed. Take the stairs up to the next floor where you will arrive at a double bedroom with a beautiful en-suite. Two further king-size rooms boast wonderful views, a vanity unit, and Velux windows to bring the outside in. You will be spoilt for choice when it comes to getting ready, with a shower room and bathroom resting close by. Spend some time outside on the patio area to be at one with the rural grounds and take a second to enjoy the breath-taking landscape. Hathersage lies within the Peak District National Park at the beginning of the Hope Valley and is close to excellent walking at Edale where there is a good selection of shops, pubs and places to eat, as well as a public, open air heated swimming pool and a railway station. A great centre for exploring all that the Peak District has to offer. Note: This cottage can be booked with Ref 952359 together they sleep 15.
