These two cottages (refs UKC3112 and UKC3113), recently renovated in 2018 to a high standard, were formerly a barn and are situated in the rural village of Six Ashes, just 6 miles from the Shropshire town of Bridgnorth and next to the Six Ashes Inn, a country pub/dining. Often described as one of England’s most spectacular inland towns, visitors from all over the world come to see this magnificent town of two halves. Low Town gives exceptional views of the valley and Britain’s longest river, the Severn, whilst views from High Town were declared by King Charles I as ’the finest in his domain’. The cliff railway takes you between the two halves, and the Severn Valley Railway is a picturesque 16-mile journey following the line of the river. The town holds a street market and livestock market, and has many fine shops to explore, which are located between the fine houses and cottages within the town centre.
