The cottage has a large entrance hall accessed via stable door, two bedrooms, a shower room, living room and large well equipped kitchen/dining room. All of the rooms are well presented and have plenty of natural light. There is allocated parking to the rear of the property, and a large lawned garden to the rear, as well as the front, with sitting-out area. The cottage is convenient for Minehead’ s various shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as the lovely walking areas in the region. The local shop is just a short walk away.
Minehead, is a coastal resort in North Somerset and is also close to great walks in Exmoor National Park. The South West Coastal Path starts from the quayside, and from the harbour area leisure cruises and boat trips can be taken. Popular in the town is Blenheim Park, which has a model village and Eye Skate for young skateboarders, alternatively, why not visit the West Somerset Steam Railway for a nostalgic look back in time. Other Exmoor highlights include Tarr Steps, the 17 span clapper bridge, the river at Landacre and the pretty village of Withypool. The Victorian villages of Lynmouth and Lynton are famous for Watersmeet House (National Trust) and the valley of the rocks and the cliff railway. Nearby is the picturesque medieval village of Dunster with its historic castle, mill and deer park, makes for a lovely day out, and here you will find tea rooms, eateries and local shops. The seaside village of Porlock is also a great place to visit. Beach 1 mile. Shop 200 yards, pub 1 mile, restaurant ½ mile.
