No smoking. Please note: There are 3 steps in the garden.. Derwent House is a large semi-detached house on the outskirts of Margate, Kent. It comprises of two living rooms, four comfortable bedrooms and an enclosed garden. This property is perfect for families and groups of friends to spend a holiday on the coast. A short walk will take guests to the centre of Margate, which is host to several bars, restaurants and the famous Dreamland Theme Park. The property has been decorated and furnished to a very good standard, and includes Wi-Fi, two TVs, DVD player and accepts pets. Guests can enjoy the spacious, enclosed garden with seating area, perfect for relaxing in the summer months.
Margate has a range of walking and cycle routes and local attractions include the Turner Gallery and Margate Winter Gardens. There are high speed trains to London from Margate, making it easy to enjoy a day in the city where you can visit the London Eye, Houses of Parliament and Buckingham Palace. The famous city of Canterbury is a short drive away with its quaint shops, cobbled streets and dominant cathedral. Beach 1 mile. Shop and restaurant 400 yards, pub 500 yards.
