Rose Cottage is nestled in a quiet residential street just 50 yards from Tenby’s South Beach, one of Europe’s top, award-winning beaches, with its white, golden, sands. This Victorian cottage has been lovingly furnished throughout with a spacious open plan living and dining room complete with slate floor and feature fireplace, leading onto the galley style kitchen. On the first floor the three bedrooms are light and airy and have been thoughtfully presented.
Tenby is surrounded by medieval walls built to fortify the town and are still in place to this very day complete with arches into the town leading to cobbled streets. Take a stroll down to the harbour to be sure of sublime picture postcard views looking out to the bobbing yachts and boats over the Carmarthen Bay towards the Gower Peninsula. Why not sit back, and try some local fish and chips and admire these views? For keen walkers, Rose Cottage is situated within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, and the 186 miles of dramatic coastal footpath runs through the town.
The Monastic island of Caldey is located just off the beaches of Tenby and accessed via boat trips from the town and really is worth the visit, here you can see this untouched island, lighthouse and even try some chocolate made by the monks. Locally Folly Far Zoo, Oakwood Wales’s largest theme park and Heatherton World of adventure are all within 15 minutes, along with two superb golf courses within a few minutes of Rose Cottage. Beach 50 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.
