Leave the car at Pontllyfni and join the path by the beach - a lovely sandy cove and usually quiet, carrying on along the path will lead you to Aberdesach another quiet sandy bay. Nefyn and Morfa Nefyn, around 10 miles away, are 2 beautiful beaches. These stunning bays are next to each other, both with easy access car parks. Visit the old smugglers cove of Porthdinllaen and enjoy a drink at the famous Ty Coch pub - voted the 3rd most popular beach bar in the world!Glynllifon Country ParkWithin easy walking distance of Swallow's Cottage you can explore the woodland gardens, rolling parkland and delightful riverside walks of this Grade 1 listed Manor House. There are graceful exteriors to admire and then round off your visit with tea and cake in the cafe. Caernarfon Airfield - Local Scenic FlightsThis is a small airfield at the end of Dinas Dinlle beach which offers flights over this stunning area - up to Snowdonia, along the beautiful Menai Strait and Anglesey coastline and down over the Lleyn Peninsula. Caernarfon Castle and Victoria DockCaernarfon Castle is a huge castle - the Guide Book claims that this 'is one of the most striking buildings the middle ages has left us' and it is hard to argue with that breathtakingly impressive and interesting description. From here wander down to the Victoria Dock and eat on the quayside where there are a number of small restaurants, shops and a theatre with plays, films and art exhibitions to enjoy.
