Heartwood Barn - Cosy converted barn, nestled in beautiful ancient woodland, Carmarthen

Carmarthenshire. Sleeps up to 2

Heartwood Barn has been lovingly renovated to create a 'home from home feeling'. The barn has its own secluded balcony overlooking a gently cascading stream. Set in a tranquil location, this is a perfect retreat for those wishing to reconnect to nature.
During your stay, you are welcome to enjoy the owners surrounding 20 acres of ancient woodland, which leads down to the river in the steep valley below. Please note that suitable footwear is advisable as the paths are steep and can at times be wet and muddy.
Heartwood Barn offers a spacious, light, open plan living/kitchen/dining area, with a large log burner, a generously proportioned bedroom with a king-size double bed, en-suite bathroom and access to the private balcony. A spiral staircase leads up to a mezzanine which provides a cosy den, with two futon chairs to relax on.
Heartwood Barn is situated half a mile from the road, down a farm track that crosses our neighbours field. It is not suitable for vehicles with a low ground clearance (e.g Sports cars). Parking is available outside the property.
The owners and their family live in the neighbouring farmhouse and are on hand should you need anything.

Located in Carmarthen, this vacation home is in a rural area and near theme parks. Carmarthen Heritage Centre and Carmarthenshire County Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Pantglas World of Nature and West Wales Museum of Childhood. Traveling with kids? Consider Teifi Valley Railway Limited and National Botanic Garden of Wales. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
