. Southlands Barn nestles in a quaint courtyard within a 5-minute drive of the beach and the village of Saundersfoot in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. A further 10 minutes’ drive along the coast leads to the renowned walled town of Tenby. This stunning semi-detached barn is all on one level, has oak floors throughout and is full of character. It offers very spacious open-plan living with a feature wood-burning stove, exposed beams and ‘A’ frame windows affording magnificent views over the surrounding countryside and valley below. Skilled craftsmanship can also be seen in the stonework that has been thoughtfully restored on the exterior of this barn. Whilst dining al fresco, look out over the unobstructed views from the patio and maybe spot a pheasant or two! Saundersfoot itself has grown in reputation for its gourmet dining, and offers a cluster of fabulous restaurants serving local produce. Take a stroll along the beach after sampling the local delights, and experience the wonderful charm that typifies Saundersfoot. Locally there is a host of local attractions for all the family including Folly Farm, Oakwood and Manor House. In Marros there is horse riding, and Tenby has an 18-hole links golf course. Boat trips are also available to Caldey Island, where Cistercian monks welcome visitors to share in its tranquillity. Walking and sea fishing are also available locally. Shop and restaurant 2½ miles, pub 2 miles.
