Lying peacefully in a truly magnificent position on the edge of Pembrokeshire’s iconic coastal path, this large detached cottage is conveniently located in the heart of the quaint coastal village of Amroth, with its 16th-century, traditional village pub and golden beach. This former fisherman’s cottage, close to the owner’s home, dates back to the late 19th century and has been beautifully converted into a spacious holiday home, providing guests with the ultimate holiday experience. Each room has been lovingly presented with quality furnishings, and the property features a large, open-plan dining room/kitchen and living room boasting splendid views over the coast. An indoor games room has been added for the family to enjoy during inclement weather. Outside, guests can relax on their own enclosed patio area featuring a barbecue, which is perfect for al-fresco dining, or stroll the promenade and enjoy the spectacular views which stretch across the coast towards Tenby and the Gower Peninsula. Just a stone’s throw away are the beautiful Colby Woods and Gardens (National Trust), which provide guests with interesting walks and areas away from the hustle and bustle of the beach. The coastal resorts of Saundersfoot and Tenby are visible from the doorstep, and lie just a 15-minute drive away. The picturesque coastal towns are encased in tranquil fishing harbours and offer a selection of gift shops, art galleries, sandy beaches and highly acclaimed restaurants, with freshly caught fish always on the menu. A visit to the resort would not be complete without a memorable boat trip to the off-shore island of Caldey, where visitors can share the serenity and tranquillity of the Cistercian Monks. Alternatively, take a sea safari along the dramatic coast, cruising close to rare sea birds, seals and the occasional dolphin. The award-winning leisure attractions of Oakwood, Manor House and Folly Farm are well worth a visit, as are the numerous historic sites dotted around the country, including Pembroke, Carew and Manorbier castles. Beach 10 yards. Shop 10 yards, pub and restaurant 20 yards.
