In the historic town of Pembroke in South Wales rests this charming mid-terrace period property, Hawthorn House, hosting three bedrooms and several reception rooms, it presents a lovely location for a break in Wales. Near to the popular seaside resort of Tenby, Pembroke is also known for its medieval walls and being the birthplace of Henry Tudor, with plenty of attractions and places to go in the town and surrounding area. Enter the property and be welcomed into the high ceiling hallway with period tiles and original mouldings, original wood doors and reclaimed wood flooring, stepping into the front sitting room where you can wind down into your evening on the sofa with an electric fire in here, and one in the dining room as well, adding a homely feel while you watch a film on the TV. Go through the sliding door into the dining room with the original Ruabon black and red tiled floor, and gather around the dining table for family meals or bring a board game along with you on holiday and spend quality time together in here, with the kitchen in the next room presenting all you need for a great self-catered stay, including an electric oven with gas hob and a washing machine and tumble dryer so you can pack light! Head upstairs to find a wonderful snug room with a sofa in here for you to delight in a quiet moment with a book, or simply take in the country views from the window. Choose one of the three lovely bedrooms, with two double bedrooms, with original wooding flooring in the master room, and a bunk room to choose from, served by the family bathroom. The enclosed garden has a long stretch of lawn perfect to let the dogs stretch their legs on, and bench seating on the patio for some alfresco dining in summer. Stroll into the centre of Pembroke and discover the history within the town's medieval walls; visit Pembroke Castle to enjoy the incredible views from the top of the castle and see the amazing 12th century keep which is an architectural novelty thanks to its huge cylindrical tower and unusual stone dome. Discover fun for all ages at Heatherton World of Activities where you can try paintballing and archery, or swing through the trees along their treetop trail, with fishing available here too as well as golf and a café. Freshwater East beach is just a 15 minute drive away and has two pubs you could choose to drink or dine in, making it prefect for a couple or small family wishing to enjoy the stunning South Pembrokeshire coast. The Upton Castle Gardens are a haven for gardening enthusiasts, or those who simply enjoy peaceful and tranquil surroundings, consisting of 35-acres of listed historic gardens surrounding a 13th century castle. Travel south to the coast to roam the scenic 5-square mile estate of Stackpole Park, with farmland, woods, lakes and coastal cliffs and beaches to discover. Tenby North Beach boasts golden sands with Goskar rock sticking out in the middle, it is a classic seaside destination to enjoy on a sunny day, hire a boat, sunbathe on the beach, take a dip or walk along the coast to find Tenby Castle, Tenby Museum & Art Gallert and Castle Beach.
