The Bullpen stands detached, whilst The Cowshed is semi-detached. The Forest has many picnic sites, ponds, cycling paths and attractions such as Go Ape which make for memorable family day trips. Good walking from the door and within easy driving distance of the cathedral cities of Hereford, Worcester and Gloucester. Visit Symonds Yat Rock, famous for its nesting peregrine falcons and the Wye Valley for rock climbing, fishing and canoeing. Within easy driving for racing at Cheltenham, Chepstow and Worcester. Also popular for climbers and walkers are the Malverns, Brecon Beacons and Skirrid Fawr. Golf can be found at Hereford, Ross-on-Wye and Monmouth. Shop 1½ miles, pub and restaurant 3 miles.
